We had a great summer camp with so many fun activities for the children to enjoy.  Now that it has ended, we are ready to start September which is the beginning of a new school year and also leads us into the fall season.  Fall means cooler weather, beautiful fall colors, and new activities and events for the upcoming months. 

The children have moved to their new classrooms, and several new families have joined the daycare. We are excited to have them in the MMDC family.  Every September we celebrate families by inviting the grandparents to come for a special event in celebration of Grandparents Day.  The children always enjoy showing their grandparents where they go to daycare each day.  We love having them visit the center and spend some time with their grandchild. 

Additionally, we will learn about Johnny Appleseed and his influence on apple orchards.  This is fitting since we are approaching fall when apples are harvested.  We will also learn about the many different types of apples that grow in our area.  We will taste the various apples and decide which one the children like the best. It will be fun!
