M A R C H 2023

It is amazing how quickly the year is passing! In the month of March we are celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss. His birthday was March 2nd and we had a fun day of singing Happy Birthday, making The Cat in the Hat pictures, and reading many of the Dr. Seuss books. When asking the children which one was their favorite Dr. Seuss book, The Cat in the Hat was by far the favorite, followed by Green Eggs and Ham.

Happy International Women’s Day! On March 8th women from around the world will be recognized for their achievements regardless of their culture, language, economic status or ethnicity (https://www.un.org/en/observances/womens-day/background).

St. Patrick’s Day will be on March 17th, and we will be celebrating in the classroom. Each class will celebrate in their own manner. All I can say is that I have seen some gold coins in the school, and I also saw a leprechaun looking for his pot of gold! This is always a fun day for the children.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
