What fun we had on Halloween! The children dressed up in their Halloween costumes, and we had a parade with the entire daycare. Afterward, the classes had wonderful Halloween parties. They ate a lot of yogurt, fruit, veggie straws, and other treats. Thanks to all of the parents who provided for each class party.
Fall has finally arrived! It is nice to see the changing leaves and experience the cool mornings. With the month of November, we begin our holiday celebrations. We will have our Parent/Teacher conferences, picture day, and we will observe Veteran’s Day on the 11th. Veteran’s Day used to be called Armistice Day, marking the end World War I on the eleventh hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Now we observe November 11th to honor veterans from all wars and military service.
At the end of the month, we will have a Thanksgiving celebration where we will enjoy a meal together around one long table. This is always a fun event for all children and staff to share a time together before the Thanksgiving break. We are thankful for so many blessings in our lives. Additionally, we are thankful for each parent and child who we have the privilege of caring for on a daily basis.
We Wish You a Happy Thanksgiving!
