June 2026

Where is this year going?  It is amazing how fast the months are going by.  The month of June will be a busy one for us.  On a weekly basis we offer Spanish classes, acrobatics, private piano lessons, music classes, and soccer. On top of all of that, we will begin the month with our preschool graduation.

This year we have 19 children graduating and moving on to kindergarten.  It is bittersweet to see them leave because so many of them have been in our program since they were infants.  We have been a part of the earliest years of their lives.  On the other hand, it is exciting for them to leave because they are moving forward in their academic journey.  We have done our part by giving them a strong foundation.  Now they will move on where others will invest in their lives as they grow and develop.  It has been a pleasure to serve these children and families for the past few years.  Graduates, we wish you well as you move forward to kindergarten!

We also start summer camp in June.  We are going to incorporate a lot of science into our summer program.  They will begin by learning about the wonder of water.  We will have a giant bubble show, rock painting, planting a garden, learning about and a visit from barnyard animals, and start our celebration of the 250th Birthday of America! Of course, we will enjoy food days, bicycle days, movie days, art days, and water days.  Let the summer fun begin!

Here at MMDC we celebrate families.  We had a wonderful time at our Party with the Parents event.  We combined our Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events into one party where the children sang and got the parents involved in the activities. We want to say Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads.  Enjoy your day with family as they honor you, their father!

Congratulations MMDC 2026 Graduates!

It is a rainy day, but we did not let that stop us from having our yearly Easter Egg Hunt. The children hunted for eggs in their classroom and had a great time. They are all excited about the Easter
